Long before she was Chef Alison she was called Tai-Tai by her daddy (her middle name is Tai). There was a song and everything dedicated to this so why not name the soup accordingly?!
 
This soup is a traditional tom kha gai soup recipe (better known as Thai coconut soup) and it is absolutely perfect and a favorite among her yacht clients. It’s creamy and sweet and salty and spicy and bright all in one. The fresh cilantro garnish adds the perfect herbaceous note. It's addictive!
