Service Description

In this fun, four-day workshop, junior chefs will learn and practice essential kitchen skills and cooking fundamentals. We’ll get hands-on and cover all the basics such as rules for handling knives, how to read and follow recipes, measuring and mixing, and the importance of kitchen safety. Classes are suited for those ages 7 to 16 years. We will build on skills throughout the week and create an impressive menu of classic dishes. CAMP DATES & SCHEDULE: Tuesday, July 25, 2023 to Friday, July 28, 2023 | 11am to 2pm IMPORTANT NOTES: *Our junior culinary camps are only available as a four-day "camp" series. Single day enrollments are not permitted. *Due to limited capacity, cancellations must be made 2 weeks in advance of the camp in order to receive a refund. No refunds or price adjustments can be made for those who cannot attend a portion of the camp. *Culinary campers will enjoy samples of the delicious dishes we create but are encouraged to bring their own snacks / drinks if they would like something more. Water fountains are available but otherwise drinks are not provided by the camp. *Liability waivers will be sent via email and must be completed and returned in order for your camper to be permitted to attend. *Allergen note: Recipes are developed using common cooking and baking ingredients that may or may not be specified in the menu titles, including various fruits and vegetables, nuts, meats, spices, wheat flours, etc. If your child has a food allergy, please contact us at chef@cleaverandclove.com before booking or attending the class. Adjustments to recipes cannot be made during class and MUST be planned in advance. Due to the nature of junior culinary camps, we cannot guarantee allergens can be fully avoided. Our Junior culinary camps are NOT appropriate for children with anaphylactic allergies of any kind. *Behavior policy: Should a situation arise that a camper's behavior is impacting the safety or well-being of another camper or any staff member their parent/guardian will be contacted and will not be permitted to return to camp. No refunds will be issued due to dismissals related to behavior. Cleaver & Clove will foster and maintain an environment of inclusivity, respect, and kindness for all.

Cancelation Policy

all cancellations for classes must be done at least 72 hours in advance. private parties and classes must be cancelled 7 days in advance. due to limited capacity, junior culinary summer camp cancellations must be done 2 weeks in advance and there are no discounts or refunds for campers that must miss a portion of the camp.
